Guest guest
Mother is the Mother of the Universe I truly believe with my heart and so is far beyond this, but for is here in the United States this election is very unique and signals a change not only to the US but possibly for the world's perception of the US. Has Amma said anything about the US Presidential Election or specifically Barack Obama who is being called a visionary of the time and by many compared to JFK? He is our new visionary politician. I would love to simply just ask her if he has divine grace on him because of the vibe he exudes, though she may pass the question. I wondered though if she said anything about the election though as it is a unique symbol for the US.
Guest guest
One might be called a Maverick another a visionary but the political mind is same - corrupt, greedy & power hungry. Amma would probably say - change is temporal & inevitable in the world look for the permanent unchanging self. The only thing that doesn't change is change itself. If your happiness is dependent on Barack being the President then good luck! Guest guest
Ravi, That was outright mean. Totally uncalled for. Do you think Amma would have responded in a similar manner? JFK?? are you kidding! to quote the late Lloyd Bentsen, " Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy " (said to Dan Quayle in 1988).. equally applicable to Obama. I doubt that Amma has said anything about the US presidential election or at some point between now and election day will speak out in favor of Obama (or Ms. Clinton, or McCain for that matter). Amma never gets involved in politics, or endorses any candidates.. not in the US, not in any other country she tours, and certainly not in India.. notwithstanding the Communist party of Kerala, rationalists, and others with axes to grind against Amma and " Godmen " in general believe she is a tool of the RSS and the Hindu supremacists in the BJP.
