Ouch, what a rough day.  All the challenges make me think you must REALLY want

liberation!   It's true that saints suffer much.

 

This year thought I had disobeyed Amma's advise when accepting a temp job &

fretted over what would happened.  Finally asked to be placed where ever She

wanted me.  Also read about lots of saints & became more service minded, which

increased surrender.

 

Since I have a child to support alone I ask God & Guru for a lot of help.  I

e-mail the Amritapuri site, pray, ask others for prayers, & even ask for

messages to be given to Amma.  It really showed Amma's compassion when I was in

Her question line about a job, received a bit of discipline, then this happened

anyway.  Seemed motherly ...  given a warning, but lesson learned so no stiff

consequences.  Glad that my big Saturn period starts after my son should be on

his own. 

 

Really want to do more spiritual practices & will include you in my attempts

this morning.  Would the threat & management's lack of response warrant a report

to the state?  Perhaps you could receive some compensation for it.

Sorry that I can't really say the same about jobs. Last August, I

 

started working as a temp for a state agency that I used to be

 

permanent at years ago, but now at a different location. Same old

 

sh**. Being intimidated, assaulted and threatened, and having it

 

covered up by the management. Zero tolerance for violence? I think not.

 

 

 

Last Monday, oh Ketu and Mars, I had an incident with the usual

 

suspect, and planned on calling the temp-agency for re-assignment when

 

I got home, since nothing was getting done. But on the way home, just

 

around the corner from work, the guy got out of his car at the red

 

light and came up to me on my motorcycle and cussed me out and

 

threatened me in colorful ways. Then turned the corner and waved me

 

on to go ahead (no way in hell I was going to go in front of him,

 

since he'd tail-gated me before when I've used my car).

 

 

 

So I turned around and reported it to my boss (who didn't care and

 

said to call the police). So I called the police and went to the

 

station to file a report. Called the temp company from the station to

 

tell them about it and ask to be assigned somewhere else.

 

 

 

Showed up next day and reported it to another boss with the case

 

number, who agreed to let me meet with his boss, and after much

 

(documented) deception, was told I wasn't needed anymore at the end of

 

the day, having not been able to meet with that 3rd level manager.

 

Blah, blah, blah.

 

 

 

The suckiest part was that I would've beat the thunderstorm had the

 

incident not occured, but by the time I had left the station that one

 

afternoon, I was riding through the rain to get home. At least it

 

gave me some time to move some of my aunt's stuff out of the

 

retirement home since she'll be moving into some sort of assisted-care

 

place. And more time to have fun with Ubuntu Linux!

Thanks for your thoughts, but this is round 2. Because of round 1,

I've experienced 24/7 harassment from every possible law enforcement

agency for the past 8 years. Boy, the stories I could tell. It's

why personally I try to keep a distance from folks, because it'll only

endanger them, and possibly get them caught up in my resolve if they

believe the stories about me.

 

Believe me, the issues in round 1 were Universal Dharma, and this

one's just cleaning up the mess.

 

Mars just went into my 2nd house today, house of employment/income.

Mars and Saturn in the same house, it's like caffeine and high-blood

pressure medicine together. They meet around July 9, a few days

before Amma gets here locally.

I did file an email report to the commish and HR, and will be

forwarding a hard-copy with appropriate evidence, but corruption runs

deep.
