But surely she can do better than this kind of reefer madness fear-mongering... for decades parents and middle-school teachers have been scaring kids with warnings that smoking pot causes mental illness (not to mention blindness and impotence) and marijuana is the gateway drug that leads to the " hard " stuff like acid and crack. The fear is internal and deep rooted in me and not induced by what Amma said. What Amma says can also be taken with love. If my subsconscious has accepted Amma fully, Amma does her job inside me to gradually remove my fear and change it to love. The process is gradual because I am resistant to change. Amma only points out the fear in a person which could help him to change it to love. There were times I used to take Amma's message with a lot of fear. Even now it is the case at times. Others could take those words with love.
