How can we help you Tom? How can i help you? Please say more, for it

sometimes is hard to know what the dynamics are with this situation.

Please let us know, and if you are reaching out to the group, then allow us

to be present for you, and may we all lift you in prayer to Amma and to the

Divine that holds us all. Let us in and take the risk to trust and we will

not let you down. . .

As far as my being a New Ager, have never related to that one, but i am

sure there is New Age influence living here in America. Actually started out

as a Southern Baptist and served in Africa and Mexico through that

organization, then came back and went to Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

When i

left seminary all i knew could not put myself in that box, and made the

decision to move inward and seek guidance from the Holy Spirit rather than from

an external group or organization. What came for me was more Taoist and Native

spirituality. But if you want to see me as New Ager then that is okay too.

Personally see myself simply as a child of the Mother. But i do not spend

much time with those kinds of labels.

Tom a number of times you have told us no one understands, and we do not

have the capacity to understand. All i can say is i too found myself in

those realms and spaces in fact one of those spaces is what brought me to dear

Amma. I felt like you for a few years, was in over my head and believed

there was no one in the world that could understand. I am a bit like Temba,

Amma truly was my Savior and not at all for sure i would be alive today if it

had not of been for Amma's divine intervention and inexpressible grace. I

stepped into a world with no language or context and all i know is that Amma's

grace was and is so far beyond sufficient. .

Please know if you would just allow us, we would gather around and do what

we can to help. Perhaps we will not be able to understand but do allow us to

stand beside you. You have been crying out for help, and we probably have

not known how to hear you. Please forgive. We all trade places many times. .

.. For the past couple of week i have been getting a image of you as the fable

of the lion that has a nasty splinter in his paw, but will not let anyone

close enough to help remove the thorn. . .Tom you keep biting us when you bite

Amma. What is the thorn Tom? Take the risk. . . this is a Sioux saying

but surely it can be found in any religion. . . all power resides in the

circle. . .

what would i do???. . .Drown both of you!!!! No i would not do that but

if ever Amma gathers the two of you in Amritpuri i would not be surpirse if

She would place both of you in the same room and assign the two of you to work

with one another.

Temba please re-read, am not taking sides, we all are coming from the

dear Temba. . .once again. . .you are right. . .there is so much that i

do not understand about this situation. . .i see everything through my

own egoic filtered lens. . .all i know for sure is that both you and Tom

are teachers. . .and prayers are sent that Amma will bring growth and

deeper revealing to both of you. . . and to all of us that are dancing

in our own ways with this ongoing disharmony. . . Temba do not know how

to respond to many of your questions. . .and often times you do ask good

questions. . .

Speaking from my own egoic lens. . . for this is what i am projecting

from my mind. . .it is like witnessing the stories from Jesus's life

straight from the parables. . .the first one i see is the prodigal

son and the older brother. . .in the Bible story we are left without

knowing how the two brothers resolved their conflict. . .all we know is

that the Father's love was unconditional and embracing. . .but have

always wondered about the two brothers. . .what do you think happened

Temba. . . .what do you think happened Tom. . . Jesus left us hanging on

that one. . .i am praying through the grace of our Divine Amma we will

see the outcome after 2000 plus years. . . truly hope it is a good. .

..loving. . .healing. . .outcome for both. . .you both are our teachers.

Tom was in a ditch you would be the first hoist him on your back and

carry him for healing. . .and perhaps Tom will reveal to us his own

project that concerns the Native family. . .i am still taking it to

prayer and contemplation. . .know it is a good cause. . . each year

commit as much as possible to Amma's humanitarian causes. . . and

always wish it was more. . .but whatever i have to offer it is given

from a place of love and gratitude. . .challenge to give through shame

has not proved to be a motivating factor in giving for me . . . am sure

dear sister,we are all each others teachers and students.i have a question

for you beloved.if your child was hungry,would you pray and contemplate before

you fed them.would not the act of feeding them be the real prayer?

another question dear sister:if a homeless person who was hungry,was fed by

someone because they felt shame or guilt,do you think that the homeless man

would care?and dear beloved,ofcourse AMMA devotees do service.could AMMAs org.be

one of the largest humanitarian efforts if they didn't?

all temba is saying is that ,philosophy without action is empty

philosophy.until we take a bite of the orange, we can only talk about what we

think the taste will be like.lets unite in a service project.if a hurricane hits

Marci, I AM IN THE DITCH,

Do I need to wave a flag?

Because right now he's just making excuses,

predictably among Amma's devotees.

When others' ignorance is sooooo thick,

what is one to do?

You're free to make this an issue of ego,

as that's a New Age perspective, of which

you've made it clear you follow. However

popular among her devotees it may be,

it's not shared by everyone.

But I'm " calling out " someone who makes

lots of praise and claims, and who many

here, find to be " inspirational " .

I've laid out my argument already. Actually,

someone " so inspirational " shouldn't have to

be asked in the first place. Believe me,

I do not ask for assistance often or lightly,

unlike a lot of Amma-bums out there.

But I ALWAYS get the same selfish egoistic

dear beloved sister,AMMAs sun has another question for you.if you were in

the lake with two people that were drowning and one of them was cursing you out

and the other was humbly asking you to help,would you not go help the one who

was humbly asking for help.would it make any since to drawn with the man who was

cursing you out when the other man really wanted to be saved?our dear brother is

not willing to drawn by himself,he wants to take others with him.this is the

only reason that AMMAs sun finally said something about his attacks.this was my

dharma,not any of yours.AMMAs grace allows me to do this and still love tom all

the same.ofcourse he will disagree with my love for him,but so what,he is loved

by AMMA in this heart all the same.

when temba speaks about AMMA,he speaks with couragous faith.this bothers

some people.what can he do?AMMA is his everything!when temba runs from HER grace

,it chases him!i am HERS and i am crazy enough to believe this with all of my

heart,but first HER love had to break me.i had to have everything taken from

me,including my physical freedom.i saw men who had murdered other men ,finally

come to their breaking points after having it all taken away from them.that is

the only difference.when you are broken ,you will cry for AMMA.no spiritual

person ,or quot will have to tell you that SHE is your refuge.you will know from

your very own experience.the bible says that GOD chastises those HE LOVES.when

you are being persecuted by the world,celebrate, for that is the path that will

lead you closer to the world of GOD.

JESUS said that the only way to have acces to him was to believe in

HIM.the book of hebrews says that it is impossible to please GOD without

FAITH.this applys to any path that involves a devotee and GURU.this has never

been between tom and i.this, for this heart is aways about service to HER and

HER children.temba only wants to please HER.all of you could turn on me.what

woud that matter beloved sister when SHE is always here?who cares about

enlightenment when you have HER?once you remember who you are in HER and who SHE

is in you,nothing else matters.

when this occurs, you will not have to quot the MASTER.the MASTER will

write through the very experience of his devotee's heart.your very life will

become just as sacred as any scripture.the book of your life will be read by

many and persecution will follow,however, because of your devotion to HER, SHE

will turn the slander into ambrosial jewels(sudhamni). SHE ALONE will get the

glory!

when JESUS was on the cross, their were two criminals being crucified with

HIM.one of them ,even while on the cross ,could not humble himself and even made

slanderous remarks to CHRIST.the other man on the other hand,humbled himself and

asked JESUS to remember him when HE ascends.JESUS'S response was profound, " on

this day you will be with me in paradise " is what CHRIST said..

when people come to AMMA for their hug,they come on their knees.this alone is

heart-opening and humbling.just think if people defiantly just started to

stand.AMMA would probally seek devotees on another planet.

we keep quoting JESUS and i love this,but JESUS was very fearless in adressing

the self-rightousness and corruption of the phariseess and scribes of that

day.LOVE is strong enough to do this and not be effected.this was still

LOVE.maybe not the form of it that we have romanticized on the spiritual path

,but still LOVE all the same.AMMA says that SHE is ruthless to HER true

devotees.this is the path of KALI.the heart surgery may be painful,but we must

be willing and place our hearts on HER operating table.this is the path of

courage. i already know that when we do a lot of service in the name of GOD, we
