Om Namah Shivaya!IN HONOR OF our BELOVED AMMA’s Birthday and the UNIVERSAL

MOTHER within all of us, an Earth Dome building course was held this September.

The seven Lakota people who attended the earth dome building course at CALEARTH

as well as all the other beautiful people who attended the training course, had

a very empowering experience. We can never forget the LEGACY AND CONTRIBUTION OF

THE LAKOTA NATIVE AMERICANS. We cannot express our gratitude enough for the

support in making this first step happen. As a follow up, we would like to help

several of the Lakota people to spend three days with AMMA in San Ramon this

November. Local devotees have offered to house them but funds are needed to

cover the travel and food expenses for the trip. If anyone would like to

contribute to this project please make your checks payable to Amma Fairfield

Satsang and mail them to PO Box 1332. Or you may also bring your donations to

Satsang on Sunday night at the Church.We also give our deepest thanks to the

founder of CALEARTH, http://www.calearth.org/ and the creator of Earthdome

homes, Nadir Khalili for their compassionate vision to end homelessness

worldwide. May we all do our part to keep this vision alive. The next step will

be for us to build actual domes on the reservation in South Dakota. We are

working out the details and already have willing land owners. Our position is

merely to serve through empowering. We will not be building anything for the

Lakota, we will be building WITH them. The next venture in the building of the

homes in South Dakota will be to raise funds for solar panels, wind machines and

other materials needed to begin our first CALEARTH building project. Our vision

is for this project to begin around March of 2009. The Pine Ridge reservation is

documented to be the poorest in the North America so we are also looking for

ways to create a budget in which we may be able to employ the natives as we

build. We welcome all creative ideas and help of any kind. This is the

beginning of something very beautiful and sacred. Our most current venture, and

the purpose of this email, is to bring a few of the Lakota people to meet AMMA

in November of this year, as some of them have expressed an interest in meeting

HER. Bringing them to meet AMMA will accomplish two beautiful goals. One will be

for them to receive THE HUG THAT HAS INSPIRED MILLIONS TO SERVE SELFLESSLY, and

the second will be to expose them to the experience of thousands of people

working together with one thought in mind. This beloved thought being the

awakening of the UNIVERSAL MOTHER OF LOVE that lives within all hearts. Please
