to Adriane over the Big Ego getting into the election

Dear Adriane ~ I had read of this also. I am so happy that Obama and his

campaign have not stooped to this level ~ trying to ensure a win through lies

and intimidation. I read that in NM people were visiting the homes of Hispanic

Americans. These people are citizens, not holding greencards; but they are

being asked to show proof of their identity and citizenship and feel very

threatened by this harassment. I believe that what is right and good will

prevail.

In a way, when you said about the egos fighting reminded me of the Chandi

Path, which tells the story of Durga and other Goddesses vanquishing the Big Ego

and all of his army. I will pray to Durga that these egos will not win the

day. The voting in this election will be unprecedented, so I hope no one will

give in to these scare tactics. Still it is very sad that anyone would stoop

to that level. May Amma's will prevail.

In light of the egos fighting, I felt it is necessary to give a " heads up "

for Americans for election day. It was reported that in Broward County Florida

robocalls are going out to voters-primarily Democrats were targeted that

they could vote by their telephone on Election Day. In other instances CNN

reported information going out telling Republicans to vote on Tuesday and

Democrats on Wednesday. It's a sad state of affairs that we go around the world

to

overlook voting to prevent fraud, yet we are still struggling with groups that

are paid to do voter suppression. In 2002, Republicans paid a group to

operate voter suppression and caging. Some wound up in federal prison but the

damage was already done. I know that on the other side people will criticize

Acorn

but the difference is, if someone is bogus on the list, they cannot show up

to vote. In other words, if Mickey Mouse is listed, he still has to show up.

Bogus lists and voter suppression are 2 different things.
