Guest guest
Namaste Lesson #2 of the 24 Gurus of the Avadhuta. . . . 2. His next lesson was learnt from the wind. The wind never stays at any one place but blows in whichever direction it pleases. So too, the sadhak should always be on the move. In order to avoid forming attachments he should not live at any one place for a very long time. Moreover, during the course of his travels, he will get the opportunity to meet many mature souls and to garner many spiritual truths, which will help him achieve his goal of Self-realization. The wind carries both good and bad smells but does not let them stay for long. Therefore, it is pure and untainted. So too, a spiritual aspirant should not be influenced by the good and bad qualities of the people he comes in contact with. Like the wind, which is subtle and cannot be seen by eye, the ways of a sadhak too are subtle, the meanings of which are not apparent to all. He should dive deep into the ocean of spirit and not live a superficial existence on the surface of consciousness.
