Guest guest
Namaste dear vaishnavi sorry to hear the treatment is causing you more pain, i have had a number of friends while in the midst of intense medical treatments express similar feelings. . .hoping you can reach down within and find the strength and the resolve to insure the greatest good. dear sister if you are in an abusive chronic relationship. . . .leave. . . .go away to any place. . . allow your heart and Amma within and without to lead you to safety. . . . remember Dali Lama said; " you as much as anyone in the Universe deserves your love and respect. " . . .and not often would i speak for Amma or others, but i truly believe that She and this group would agree with these words of the Dali Lama for you. . . .you are a person of value and worth and deserve to live a life without physical, emotional, or sexual violence. . . . vaishnavi i have been reading a book of blessings by the great Irish poet John ODonohue and would like to share some with you. . .on those days when things are difficult may you know that you have a sister and others in this group that are wrapping you with love, blessings, and prayers tor Amma's grace to hold you extra near these days. . . . here are some i am wrapping you within vaishnavi. . . . Blessings On the day when the weight deadens on your shoulders and you stumble, may the clay dance to balance you. And when your eyes freeze behind the grey window and the ghost of loss gets in to you, may a flock of colours, indigo, red, green, and azure blue come to awaken in you a meadow of delight. When the canvas frays in the currach of thought and a stain of ocean blackens beneath you, may there come across the waters a path of yellow moonlight to bring you safely home. May the nourishment of the earth be yours, may the clarity of light be yours, may the fluency of the ocean be yours, may the protection of the ancestors be yours. And so may a slow wind work these words of love around you, an invisible cloak to mind your life. A BLESSING FOR EQUILIBRIUM. Like the joy of the sea coming home to shore, May the music of laughter break through your soul. As the wind wants to make everything dance, May your gravity be lightened by grace. Like the freedom of the monastery bell, May clarity of mind make your eyes smile. As water takes whatever shape it is in, So free may you be about who you become. As silence smiles on the other side of what's said, May a sense of irony give you perspective. As time remains free of all that it frames, May fear or worry never put you in chains. May your prayer of listening deepen enough To hear in the distance the laughter of God. A Beauty Blessing As stillness in stone to silence is wed May your heart be somewhere a God might dwell. As a river flows in ideal sequence May your soul discover time in presence. As the moon absolves the dark of resistance May thought-light console your mind with brightness. As the breath of light awakens colour May the dawn anoint your eyes with wonder. As spring rain softens the earth with surprise May your winter places be kissed by light. As the ocean dreams to the joy of dance May the grace of change bring you elegance. As clay anchors a tree in light and wind May your outer life grow from peace within. As twilight fills night with bright horizons May beauty await you at home beyond. - John O'Donohue from his book Divine Beauty > Heavy stuff going on , very painful, I don't lnow wheather to give up on the interferon, and stay in the abusive bardo, or go home to the ashram, my daughter, and just take the time I got left heppy you know? > > Attacked this AM, should I leave everything in Illinois and go to San Ramone? Abandon this " health plan " and go on faith? > > Amma will let me know I hope. > vaishnavi > > > > Whatever merit is acquired by one, through pilgrimmages and from bathing in the Sacred Waters extending to the seven seas, cannot be equal to even one thousandth part of the merit derived from partaking the water with the Guru's Feet are washed. > > Guru Gita > Verses 157, 87 > > At Her Perfect Lotus Feet > Vaishnavi > > > > >
