Guest guest
You neglect to mention why. I don't know about Federal Income tax, but most states don't collect taxes on income from bonafide tribe members when the income (or interest) is gained on tribal lands when residing on them. Tribal areas ('the rez') have certain sovereignty, so it's not completely dharmic that they should be treated like they're equal when being considered for gov't handouts. Feed a man a fish and he eats for one day... There's bigger issues at hand, and that's where effort should be done. There are also many students who cannot get medical care due to age and go without treatment. Many students cannot get covered on health insurance and therefore are suffering as well. > >
