Hence my humble suggestion is to seek a Guru, then rest assured. with love krishnaji
Guest guest
Mr. J. Swamy, This is a very normal condition for the beginners . they generally falls in sleep. So I may suggest u kindly to start your meditation practice :- 1-Prepare yourself and feel comfortable . 2-Lit a candle about 1 mtr away but should be parallel to your eyes when u r sitting -start by sitting on the chair- keep your back streight and open your legs in comfort possition or u feel relaxed . 3- Take deep breath and feel it from mouth to your stomach. Let the stomach move in and out . 4-Conjure up in your mind a picture of the flame- it occupies your whole mind , it is though you are hypnotised by its dancing motion and by its colours. Remember- when a thought comes to mind again , let it come , then let it be consumed by the flame . 5- Let the flame come closer, approaching your face , look at it again and feel its warmth spreading fhough you keep in contact with these sensations, in a silent inner calmness. -As soon as you feel thoughts enter your mind once again , let the mental image of the flame fade away. -Start moving your muscles and your limbs slowly, yawn if you want to, and finally open your eyes again. -The sense of calm relaxation it achives will promot good concentration and keep you away from sleep. -Read some Ayurveda Books for your regular food and further try to ignore the pain or problems in your body -Practice may make you perfect soon . Guest guest
This isnt that big a problem- what happens is, your tamogun becomes stronger, & puts you to sleep. This is a good thing, as until all tamogun is destroyed, you wont be able to enter proper Samadhi. Sadhna forces your Tamogun to the top, where it is usually destroyed. Do sadhna before sleeping, so you sleep immediately after. During sadhna, dont try to fight it- if you feel sleepy, let it be.
