I sometimes visit the Sarada Math in Pune, the head of the Math is Sri Yogaprana Maa. In one of my previous visits i has asked her how to become pure. In another visit she was reading from the gospel and spoke about the power of the name of GOD and OM. from what i can best remember she said that chanting OM gradually makes one pure in body and the mind. She also said that while repeating the name of the Lord one must feel the presence of the Lord within ones heart. Her words this time and as always have left me feeling much much better. The shrine of the sarada Math must definitly have some great power, for when i am there it makes me ( a very worldly person) feel very wonderful , very uplifted. Well said. The Bible also confirms this: The Word was with God, and the Word was God. So, God is non different from His Name (the Holy AUM Vibration). AUM is very powerful because it includes all deities as well as formlessness, and all religious and existential truths.
