Guest guest
Respected friends, Once a famous mountainer was asked. Why do you climb mountains and face risks and hardship? He answered,'just because it is there.' To my mind, we worship God for He IS; and not for what we get or do not get. For what we get is what we deserve according to our own 'karma' and what we do not get is again according to our own 'karma'. We love, worship and find God to reach a stage of absolute joy-'anand'! Guest guest
RE: " Can you tell me how to believe god's existence? " Namaste: When we see: 1. A parent's love 2. Holy men and women 3. Noble souls endowed with compassion I believe that this provides ample proof of God's existence. Sri Ramakrishna said: " Man cannot really help the world. God alone does that - He who has created the sun and the moon, who has put love for their children in parents' hearts, endowed noble souls with compassion, and holy men and devotees with divine love. The man who works for others, without any selfish motive, really does good to himself. " Om Tat Sat

Guest guest
Dear Lokesh, Cloth is asking where is cotton. Wave is asking where is Water. Some one is asking where is God. We do not believe that all the words in dictionary are in order accidentally. But we believe that all the order (Seasons, trees & seeds, etc.,) in the world is accidental. Guest guest
Dear Sachin: I understand personal experiences of God should be kept private -- especially visions. However, my experience was not visual, but mental and sensual -- and your worthy question could initiate an interesting and appropriate string of responses for all of our learning. For me and my stubbornness, God knows that, at this stage in my spiritual development, He can best get my full attention through fear and pain! A number of years ago, I was trying to decide whether to end or continue a relationship with a woman (who eventually became my wife). At a key juncture one evening (whether to return a critically important phone call or not), God placed His 'finger' on my stomach and pressed, simultaneously 'telling' me (no actual voice was heard, but the communication was 'loud,' authoritative and crystal clear) to pick up the phone lying next to me and make the phone call. I did not doubt then, nor have I ever since that this was a clear and direct command from God -- advising me on whom I was to marry. Guest guest
Dear Sachin, You know, key here is your faith and belief. Yes, I do have a strange experience once. once visiting my mother's place in India, she took me to her group who are followers of Sri Ramakrishna. First time I saw with great attention, Sri Maa's photograph and I fall in love with her calm look. After I came back to US, after lots of ups and downs I got pregnant with twin babies and I started calling her as I came to know, no one can visit me during this difficult time, I have to do everything by my self.Maa suddenly appeared as if I am dreaming and said,'dont worry' I will be with you. And yes, she was. She helped me every time holding my hands and now I am blessed with two little angels. After that I started reading about her and joined this group and found that my experience was not a dream. It was true. And I am sure many readers will agree with me. Love Sujata Ramakrishna , " sachin_2291 " <sachin_2291 wrote: > > Is there anybody who experienced existing of god? Beloved brother Sachin, Existance of God is not the experience that can be aquired by his presence but we have to have experience the love the greater love which is constantly showered up on us for our spiritual wellbeing. as sujatama truely said its belief and love we have for him matters a lot. Guest guest
Dear Sachin, The experience of God within the limit of time and space is through " miracles " - things that are beyond our known natural limitations. These " miracles " prove the person the attributes of God i.e. omniscient, omnipotent etc. But I think these " miracles " will form faith in God, but can't be told as experiencing God. Experience in God can occur through visions in dreams or during deep meditation. This experience is beyond explanation just as a person can't express the feeling of Love to one's parents, wife, children or husband. I think a person who has experienced God will have possess some traits, which we can see in Thakur, Sri Maa, Swamiji and many other monks of the Ramakrishna Order, Bhagawan Ramana Maharshi, St. Francis and the list goes on and on...As it is rightly said in the upanishads, where words and thoughts end, there the experience of God begins (yatoo vacho nivartantee aprapya manasa saha) Yours in Thakur, Prasad

Guest guest
God is more nearer to the Heart than the Mind, Mind as normally obtains is more turned towards the external world that feeds the Ego with a sense of doer and consumer that edges(E) God(G) out(O)! Heart is more tuned to the internal vibrations which could be a gateway to access divine. M.S.Thimmappa. Your Mail works best with the New Optimized IE8.
