CHAPTER

5 The strength of the Atma will give one the immense strength of stability to be able to see the world with the eyes of compassion and forgiveness. None can give you peace, forever - and no one can ever touch your peace. The gift of peace, is, but in the fist of your own hands. Loosen the grip of spiritual discipline, and you will see it spill its wealth, leaving the heart to face the merciless state of its poverty. Peace does not simply come - it is made by the one that seeks it. Peace must not be desired - leave all "unwanted" and you will bring its holy feet in your inner

home. Peace is not the state of mind nor is it an offering of the heart - it is a simple compromise between life, nature and fate. Accept fate, do not interfere with nature, and express, always, the true purpose of life's manifestation - one will then surround himself in the aura of blissful peace. Do not blame anyone for your pitiful state of anxiety. The seed of fear is planted only by you - it nourished only by you, it expresses only in you and it robs only you! The one that instigates the state of anxiety in you is none but your own weakness that you are unable to control and handle. Resentment, bitterness and hatred are but the fruits of fear. The one that fears will burn in the flames of silent anger - such silent anger is bound to bring the evil of hatred. Hence, do not fear to lose anything. Face with courage the pain of today's loss - face the pain, for then, the pain will no

more be unknown to you - and that which is known, My child, will lose the threat of fear. Grow, My dear, with the utmost confidence in the Atma. Know its strength to be indestructible. Forget the times of pain - remember only those times in which you survived, in which you sustained and in which you healed. Forget the times in which you failed - remember only those times in which you tasted the success in persistence and patience. Forget the times in which fear drenched you with the beads of perspiration - remember only that time, when you arose to fight the battle and saw the end with a courageous smile. Walk alone in your spiritual journey - expect not a miracle of another in the course of your change. Discriminate every moment of your

journey - recognize your wrongs - and let the repentance show by correcting the wrong with the humility of rightful penance. Do not be afraid of trying - the one that climbs to the peak of the mountain learns to fall, first, and only then, does he learn the perfect strategy to climb. There is no limitation in what you can endure. Let the pride hurt, My child, when one shoots arrows of anger upon you. Let the pride hurt, let it sob and crumble. Welcome the arrows of pain, for they have come to kill your own enemy. A wise one will always act blind, for he sees only with the inner eye. Know that an attack is only out of fear - defense is only a sign of insecurity. Be neutral - stand in your own way, and let the storm pass you by. The hand of the inner will, will lead you to the truth in this journey. This will power can be awakened by simply placing

your faith in it. Calm the mind with this faith - and then walk the journey with the purity that is filled in the heart. There is no external search, My dear. You are the treasure that walks with My wealth - You are the miracle that walks with My splendor - You are the love - You are the peace! You are the heart in which God beats!Source : LIVING IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD (Volume II/Part I)
