CHAPTER

31 Failure is nothing, but the fall that lets one see and realize his own weakness. Know that to be the first step to success, for it is only the one that is ready to see and admit to himself of his own state of impurity that will gather the strength within him to begin the process of the clean up. Hence, let the failure come, let it pull and make one lose the present home of false glitter and will leave one forced upon the street with no possessions and no more attachments. It is only then that the homeless soul will be inspired and determined to build the dream home that cannot be wrecked nor threatened by the howling winds of destiny. It is only then that one will see that

his run for every worldly gain was the reason of his every loss. The one that holds onto his one success with fear, will never taste the sweetness of another. Just simply walk the path of truth, do not count and weigh, ever, the efforts against the results. Such an attitude, My child, will lose the power of your will and determination, much before the starting of the noble task. Success is bound to come, if you are prepared to face every fall. Success is bound to touch the glory of your feet, if you learn to arise from every fall. Success is nothing but one's own inspiration that allows one to see the goal at every stage of the building of one's own inner strength. Do not be disheartened at the intermediate stage - if one is still facing the bitterness, know that the end is yet to come. The end of a fearless fight is always sweet, hence, find

within, the patience, My child, to be able to wait until the very end. The work that has truth, the sincerity of the heart, the inspiration of the noble mind and the wisdom of several spiritual experiences, such work, My dear, will reveal its beauty at every stage and will bring one to its completion much more quicker than time can ever move its hands. Make failure the learning experience - let it be that experience in which one steps upon the thorn, feels its pain and learns the skill of removing it, once and forever. Do not make the failure a habit, for then, one becomes numb to the pain and is not able to find the inspiration nor the strength to live without it. Try at the first attempt - the second attempt, My dear, is to do. The first attempt gives one room to falter - the second is no more an attempt, for the experience of

the first must be the source of wisdom for the next. Hence, the second is no more an attempt but it is the performance of perfection. The learning process is hard, only when one is not applying himself, fully, to the chosen task. Immerse the heart, completely, and the task will have no room for petty, repetitive imperfections. Let the mind be focused on the goal, keep it occupied in envisioning the beauty of the final product - keep it secure by assuring it that your determination is unbreakable, that your faith in the guidance of the self is unshakable, and let it bask in the restfulness of peace so that its desires do not block nor mask the path of the absolute truth. Do not focus, exaggerate, nor indulge in the pain you experience - do not ignore the experience completely, either. Find the balance, My child, where one carries the memory of the pain but does not make the pain the sole experience.

Let the pain be one part - its wisdom the other, and the right balance between the two will let one foresee the trouble of a similar experience, ahead. Remember, always, My child, that as long as the intentions are pure, the Lord will carry you through your small mistakes. If the failures become intentional, then the Lord's attention, too, becomes silent, until He hears the cry of help - until He sees that His child is ready to rise and walk again.Source : LIVING IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD (Volume II/Part I)

Divine messages:--

It is only then that one will see that his run for

every worldly was the reason of his every loss.

If one is still facing the bitterness, know that the

end is yet to come again.

As long as the intentions are pure, the Lord will

carry you through your small mistakes.
