Guest guest
Saving for a rainy day may be wise in earthly life. But which will help us in spiritual life. What is the currency that is accepted in spiritual life? No doubt, it is the good deeds, the repetition of God's name and the selfless service we render to the needy and poor. We have to accumulate such merits so that it will stand by us in times of need. Sai Baba used to say to his devotees, "I call everybody to carry the wealth vouchsafed in cartloads. But no body is listening. Be a truthful son of Mother and carry the wealth, He laments. But no body cares. All want the perishable wealth of worldly things only. He is ready to offer 'Eternal Joy' to us. But we are enamoured by the earthly tinsel. This is really unfortunate. In joyful mood, Baba used to sing "Ramate Ram, Aaoji Aaoji, Udhiyanka Koniyan Lavoji Lavoji". Translating roughly, it means " Oh playful Rama Come, Come along with bags of Udhi" The call is for Shri Sathya Sai, we witness now, the bountiful 'Vibuthi'(Holy Ash) which comes from his palm, many number of times during Dharsan time and we have witnessed the 'Vibuthi Abishekam' (the pouring of plentiful of holy ash from one small vessel on the silver idol of Sai Baba, in such continuity as He rolls his hand inside the empty vessel. Fortunate are those who witness the profound event. Sairam. I had been fortunate to witness one such Vibuthi Abishekam sometime during 1966. Jai Sai Ram.
