The cosmic self and individual self are one and the same.

The topics of spirituality always centre on the Self or Atman. If you consider a circle, which is the origin and from which point the circle gets defined. It is the centre of the circle from which all measurements like radius, diameter and the circumference and the area occupied by the circle can be arrived at. Hence for this universe, the centre is SELF. For all the living beings, their centers are also considered to be the self who is identical with the cosmic self. All the powers contained in the Cosmic Self are also found in individual self. Many devotees are ignorant of this great truth. They rely upon the outer form and consider it to be real whereas "All that is seen, heard, felt etc are great illusions". Only an illumined intellect can enlighten us in this matter. Study of the scriptures, repeating the name of Hari, becoming selfless and humble is the hall marks of devotees.Sairam.
