Swami used to tell often that "Moha Kshayam is Moksham". What it implies? Moha=Attachment; Kshaya is dimnishing and Moksha=liberation from this dreadful existence. Hence when our attachment towards this material world dimnishes, we tend to attain liberation. When the attachment becomes 'zero' your attain liberation. Why we delude ourselves with the transient and illusory world. It is due to Maya which drowns the man in ignorance and imagine everything he perceives outside in this world as real and true. Hence he values relationships and consider the wife and children, father and mother, brothers and sisters as his own and they are concerned about him. We all might have heard the story told by Bagawan to clarify this point. Almost everyone thinks that our kith and kin loves us truely. But if you go deep into that you will find only 'self interest'. No body loves others more than himself. This is the psychology of the human mind. When a deluded man was questioned by his preceptor 'why he is toiling so much'. He said that he is toiling for the family'. Then the preceptor asked him 'Do you think that your family truely loves you?. The man asserted 'yes' and they are ready to give even their life for the sake of me. The preceptor gave him a 'tablet' and asked him to swallow it as soon as he reaches the house. The man swallowed it as directed. Within few minutes he fell down just like a log of wood, without any movement or without any proof of life. The entire family gathered around him wailing loud and long. Everybody was lamenting that the cruel god should have taken them instead of the beloved 'man'. Exactly at that time, the preceptor entered the house and enquired the family "What has befallen?. They explained in detail the sequences. He told them, "The man can be revived provided any one in the family is ready to lay their life in lieu of him. The entire family was taken aback. The wife said, the mother of his husband who is very old can relinquish her life in favour of her son. To this the mother replied "I have other children to whom i should take care. Anyway my son has gone. Who can change the fate? Likewise everybody in the family putforth their excuses and sadly accepted the fact. Though the man was motionless, he was able to hear whatever his family has said. Immediately he woke up as though from sleep and accompanied the preceptor renouncing the family. The main point is however much anybody may swear no body loves the other more than themselves. Hence beware of the pseudo appearance of the people and the world. Remain fixed in your faith in god. Sairam.
