Also if we identify ourselves as the doers, we can never escape bond. Our efforts should be in the direction of abandoning the doership. Think yourself as a humble instrument, god uses for his work. Think your body and mind as inert materials which can be best utilised only by god. A mug is inert. The user dips it in milk or buttermilk or tea to supply the appropriate things through the mug. The mug do not taste the materials. On it own, it can not serve. Some body is needed to fill it and supply the contents to others. We also should consider ourselves as inert instrument when engaged in the service of society. It is God, who use your body, mind and intellect for the service of society. Hence you can never boast that you are serving and others are receiving your service. When you consider yourself as a mere instrument, automatically, your ego gets eliminated.
