Guest guest
The first and foremost in Swami's work is education. Healthcare and drinking water supply followed suit. Unless the crude mentalities of mankind is shaped properly, other service activities will not find foot hold. First "Bala Vikas" programmes were started in a very small and humble manner. Hardly few boys and girls were trained by each "Bala Vikas Gurus". Swami is never interested in quantity. He emphasizes quality as foremost. Even in Bajan Mandalis and Nagarasankeerthan groups, He has told several times not to be bothered by fanfare etc. Enough if few devout individuals join together to sing the names of manifold forms of god through street singing, initiating the culture of "Nama Sankeertana" of ancient system. It was Gouranga who propagated the Nagara sankeertan" in Bengal. He was ridiculed by many sinisters. His "Dhol" and other accompanices of Sankeertan were snatched by many unruly people. He never felt the loss. Rather He was happy that God has given him the choice to clap during the sankeertan with his hands. He was so immersed in the enchanting names of Shri Krishna, many times he was not aware of himself. Hence all service activities commenced with "Educare" programme. Only after realising the sanctity of service programmes, Samithi activities will find fulfillment. Sairam.
