Guest guest
We may be meditating or doing Japa. Our concentration is frequently disturbed by the conversations of the family members in the hall. Our mind rushes there and start reacting to the various comments and criticisms of our various actions. The mind gets agitated. There is no use simply sitting in front of the altar, closing the eyes since our mind has eloped. It is no more interested in meditation. It wants to say so many reasons for the actions done by us. There is one more way to remain without reaction. We move on the road, and several conversations are heard. Are we bothered? No. Since they do not belong to us and they are not related to us. Hence it is nothing but "Myness" which makes you to react to your kith and kin. If you just hear the conversations as though it takes place on the road or somewhere else, we may arrest the tendency of the mind to react. But the process takes time. But do not get discouraged. Watch everything as a cinema scene. Nothing should really bother you. Remain a mute witness, unaffected absolutely. Then your progress is spirituality will become rapid and you are sure to succeed.
