Harmony of individual will with Divine will produces righteous efforts and success. When Swami exhorts us to remain united in thought, word and deed, how many attempts or succeed in bringing harmony between these three?. It requires intense practice and selflessness. When ego and selfishness enter, wisdom recedes to the background. All activities are then dictated by the senses through the mind and thus we become slave to the senses. It is the accumulation of many births that drive us to this sorry state. Hence our efforts should be intense to escape from the shackles of the mind. When the mind heed the advise of the intellect or buddhi, it will elevate us and ennobles our activities. Hence decide about chasing the mirage of earthly attainments or pleasures. Sairam.
