Prayer to the most Merciful God

O most merciful

God, I come to ask You to forgive me my sins. In Your

great mercy, You are always ready to forgive the

repentant sinner. As the mighty ocean washes the numberless grains of sand on

its shore, so Your mercy washes our souls of their

sins. Wash my soul clean, O

my God, that I may ever

praise Your mercy towards me. Though I offend You often, always You forgive me, when I ask Your

pardon. O God, my Father, I trust in Your mercy and Your goodness.
