We have been created entirely for a higher purpose. But only the saints and sages can enlighten us on the specific purpose. All the religions indicate the same truth albeit in a different way. We have been separated from the source as a river is separated from the sea. Nobody has taught the river about its destination. Irrespective of that, all rivers, all over the world rush back to merge in the Ocean. Hence all the individual souls have to merge back in the supreme soul. Till such time, all our activities should be directed only in those directions. We should not be content with stagnation. When we cross a river through a bridge, we should not try to build a house on the bridge. Bridge is meant for our journey to the other bank.
