Guest guest
Each of us wear a different glass to see through the world and people around. The opinion of no two people tallys since they wear different coloured glasses to look. Now some may ask, " i don't wear any specs". But this is not the ordinary glasses, we discuss here. It is the prejudiced and opined glasses, we always wear to look at others. We are in the habit of judging every other and all events. One who never judge any body nor form any opinion about any body is a "Muni" or "Gnani". They do not react to the outside world. They always accept all events and people without any resistance. There lies their greatness. In fact, God do not react to the mind and thoughts. Sometimes we ourselves feel guilty at the thought pattern, the mind weaves. If you are accustomed to ignore and remain indifferent to the thoughts that pass through the mind, you are on the correct path to realisation. Shri Ramana Maharishi used to say, "All thoughts are distractions and worrisome" without any distinction. For instance, in a pellucid lake, even if a small leave falls on the surface, it causes minor waves not discernable to naked eye. Each such event causes disturbance to the surface of a lake. Hence any resolution conceived in the mind is a definite distraction to our peace. Hence we must aim at a 'thoughtless stage'. Ofcourse it is not easy. But, there is a process. Start observing your mind and thoughts without reacting. Yes, it is quite possible if only you remain indifferent to the thoughts. It should not cause any feeling or emotion to arise. It will take time to practice but it assures definite results. Be a mute witness to the thoughts, but do not react. simply watch. that is the secret. why don't you try and benefit? Sairam.
