Guest guest
The wheel of life goes on rotating. Every point on the top of the wheel has to descend to the bottom at some point of time. It is like life on the earth. Seasons changes, Prosperity and poverty alternates in everybody's life. Nothing is ever stable except 'changes'. It is those 'changes' which give importance to living. Just imagine a place where the climate is always cold. You will do anything to get away from the place cursing it as 'hell'. Those who live in the plains curse the summer and seek cool hilly resorts. This is the nature of the human psyche. When you enjoy luxury continuously, you seek changes. You are not satisfied with the continuous luxury. It is natural. When we toil in the day, we seek refreshing rest in the night. After a day of toil, we hurry to our home to be amongst our family. After five days work, we seek outing to new places. This happens regularly in affluent society. They are bored with the home environment. They want to go out on a sight seeing trip, a fishing trip or to the warm sea shore basking on the sun. The world is created on the principle of duality. If there is no pain, you won't appreciate the pleasure. If there is no toil, you won't appreciate rest. We are having assorted experience in life. Our mood changes every now and then. We seek newer and newer things. We want to try the latest gadgets available in the market. From food to clothing, our desires are not satiated with standard routine. Hence we visit restaurants and malls to satiate our cravings. Hence, the human mind has no bounds. It is crazy. Hence we have to discipline the mind by spiritual sadhana. By Namajapa we can tame the mind to a great extent. But we have to become egoless and selfless. Then our progress will be assured. Sairam.
