Bhagwati paying respects to Satya Saibaba during the 26th convocation of Sri Satya Sai University in Puttaparthi on Thursday. PUTTAPARTHI: The real objective of education will be fulfilled only when the educated help others, Satya Saibaba preached students at the 26th convocation of Sri Satya Sai University, held in Sai Kulwanth Auditorium at Prashanti Nilayam, here on Thursday. Speaking after conferring various degrees on the students from campuses at Puttaparthi, Bangalore and Anantapur, he said the aim of education should be not just to eke out a living or caring the dear ones, but in spreading knowledge. He advised students not to waste time. Students should have a ceiling on their desires by diverting their energies in acquiring knowledge. It is expected of every student to spread what they learn and share the knowledge they acquire, he said. Stressing the importance of truth, righteousness, peace, love and non-violence, he suggested students to yearn for inner life, which gives self-contentment, stating that material life will leave them happy only for the time being.
