Guest guest
As we memorise multiplication tables, during elementary schooling,we have to be reminded often on the 'value education' Swami wants to impart to all of us. Frequent repetition of the same truths may sometime look cumbersome, but it is not so really. When an iron piece has to be magnatised, we rub the magnet over the iron piece many times. In the process, the iron piece gain the magnetic properties, though temporarily. When charcoal is brought near live ember and fanned vigourusly, the charcoal too catches the fire and starts to burn. Hence, the process though tedius, has to be undergone. Even in 'gurukul' of ancient days, pupil learn for around 10 to 12 year to learn 'Veda recitation'. When we toil for the majority of life for filling the stomach, why not we learn again and again "Atma Vidya". Once you learn this 'Vidya', there will be nothing more to learn in this world. Sairam.
