Guest guest
Eighth Holy Saying " If you look to me I look after you " " Keep your mind concentrated in me. Be my devotee. Worship me alone. Fall at my feet. If you thus meditate always on me you will get me and get into me completely. " Shri Krishna says so in the Bhagavat Gita. Who else except the devotees will meditate on Baba? Does every devotee fully give his mind to Baba? Not only a true devotee gives himself completely to Baba. What is one's concentration or meditation? It means one's full knowledge about Baba. It also means love and devotion. It is nothing but inwardness. To look at Baba always is to remember Baba always. It also means repeating Baba's name again and again. Such a person leads his life guided by Baba. Ordinary people look at Baba as a person, that is, in human form. But true devotees look at him as God in human form. Extraordinary devotees look at Baba as God. It is better to love Sai Baba as Sai Baba. It is nothing but ignorance and foolishness to say, " I cannot consider Baba to be a Gocl and I cannot have faith in him as God until it is proved that Sai Baba is the consolidate and comprehensive divine form of all the thirty three crores of gods and goddesses. " 'I am a devotee ot Rama. Therefore, my Rama is available in Sai Baba.' To think so is not bad, not wrong. But until you worship Sai Baba as Sai Baba you cannot understand the difference or similarities and relationship between Baba and Rama. Therefore to be a true devotee of unique love and devotion, it is better you love Baba as Baba, not as somebody else. Don't waste your energy and time in trying to compare Baba with this God or that God, his goddess or that goddess, this incarnation or that incarnation, this yogi or that Siddapurusha. If you make an intellectual exercise, you will only get confused. Don't spoil your love and devotion by being more and more intellectual. Worship Baba as Baba, serve Sai Baba as Sai Baba. If you want to keep your mind fixed on Baba, what should you do? In your life, at some time on an auspicious occasion you will have an oppertunity to see a photo of Baba or a book about Baba. You may listen to Sai Bhajan somewhere or meet devotees of Baba in some place. This will happen on account of your good luck or by Baba's grace. It is since then that your Sadhana Starts. Continue to look at him as frequently as possible. You may get the doubt that you cannot afford to give up your personal duties just to look at Baba. " You need not go far in search of Me. Barring your name and form, there exists in you as well as in all beings, a sense of Being or Consciousness of Existence. That is Myself. Knowing this, you see Me inside yourself, as well as in all beings. If you practise this, you will realize all-pervasiveness, and thus attain oneness with Me. " That means, you have to see Baba in yourself and in all. To see him in all always you have to listen to the stories of Baba again and again. Once Baba asked Hamed Panth to go to the house of Shyama and bring him fifteen rupees as offering. Then Shyama narrated a story about Baba to Panth, how Baba showed his grace on those who have faith in him. He picturesquely described it in the story. Let us now hear that story and enjoy the thrill of Baba's grace. Radhabai was an old lady She had heard about Baba's grace, therefore, she along with the villagers of Sangamaneru went to she saw Baba and had great satisfaction. She loved Baba greatly. She decided to accept Baba as her Guru. She decided to receive Upadesa (holy mantra) from Baba. She resolved to starve and die in Shirdi in his very residence, if Baba did not grant her request. She stayed without food and water for three days. Then Shyama decided to tell Baba about her resolution and starvation. (to be contd….)
