Guest guest
Sometimes we feel, that we are unworthy to pursue spirituality because of our various weakness and vascillations. Every human mind is a mixture of good and evil but the proportions vary between person to person. Swami in one of his discourses has pointed out, that the waves of the ocean are in no way different from the ocean but due to the action of the wind on the surface of ocean, waves are formed and they join with the waves on the way and sometimes become very huge and crashes on the sea shore. In this manner, every human being, seemingly different from the Atma from which it originates, continue to live as a separate entity due to the mixure of Asuric, human and animal tendencies. We go through many births, not necessarily human. We remained as dust, stone, minerals, plants, trees and various species of birds or beasts. Hence, it is natural that we exhibit some residual tendencies of animal behaviour. Hence it is no wonder that every human being behaves sometimes in a brutal manner which is against the nature of man kind. Man should possess kindness and hence man kind. Swami says, we should kill asuric or animal qualities in us and transform the human to Divine. Let us follow the foot prints of the master atleast from now onwards. Sairam.
