Invariably we feel attached to our body. It is the mind which carries the body through the ego. Mind can never survive apart from body consciousness. If you starve the mind of its pet needs, the mind slowly meets its anhilation. But the process is not that much easy. Even Arjuna, the great warrior was afflicted with delusion, though he was in the constant company of Shri Krishna. Krishna will show you the way but you have to travel in the path shown by Krishna. Likewise all Avatars invariably lead mankind by their own life, behaviour and teachings. Only those who could recognise the Truth of their teachings will get the benefit. Shirdi Baba has given such an instruction to his devotee. He said, "See the tree with the blooming flowers". If all the flowers mature into fruits, what a rich harvest it will turn. But they do not do so. Some flowers are blown away due to wind, Some fall on its own due to feeble grip. Many are eaten away by birds and animals.Only a few survive and they turn into fruits in due course. Likewise all those who come to me do not turn to spirituality at once. Many hanker for worldly riches, children or house or longivity. Many clamour for alleviation of their problems. Only a handful reach Baba's presence relying upon his wisdom and guidance. Likewise, Jesus also has given his wisdom through parables. He said, "the grains fall on many places like rock, prickly pears, barren lands. Only those who fall on good land, sprout in the course of time and yield fruit. It is nature's balancing act which enables only a few to sprout. Hence let us not desire for worldly things which will fade away with time. Let us seek HIM through our constant prayer and Love. Let the Nama be in our tongue constantly. Om Sai Ram.
