No words can describe Mother Easwaramba. She is an epitome of 'motherhood ' and she adhered to the family values of "Raju family". She adjusted herself amicably with the elders of the family. She was humble to the core but feared much for evil eye for her little Sathya. She wanted to safeguard him as the eye of apple. But she was immersed in the affection to Sathya and hence she could not comprehend the greatness of the little Sathya. But Karnam Subbamma could gauge the Divinity that assumed the form of "Sathyam". She had the great fortune to feed "Sathyam" many a time. Sathya too found happiness in the company of Karnam Subbamma. That doesn't mean that Easwaramba is in any way lesser. No. She was most fortunate to carry Sathyam in her womb. She was singly responsible for Sathyam choosing to stay in Puttaparthy permanantly instead of migrating to some towns nearby. She was instrumental in obtaining the boon from Sathya for a small elementry school at Parthy, a small hospital and the drinking water fecility for the people of parthy. A small desire from Easwaramba has grown into a huge tree giving shade to millions of future generation viz., Sathya Sai University, Superspeciality Hospitals, Drinking water supply Projects to the entire District of Anantapur. We, who profess to be devotees of Swami should show our reverence and thankfulness to the Mother and Father on this Holy day. Sairam.
