The mind is very peculiar. It puts forward many arguements on any subjects it selects. It confuses us to a great extent. Associating the mind, we can never come to any definite conclusion on any subject. It is difficult to believe that the same mind has several opinion about any subject. It wont stick to any single arguement. Swami very often says, "why should you follow the monkey mind and the body which is like a water bubble? But, even after listening to such sage advice, do we remain indifferent to the pulls and pushes of the mind. The tragedy is that we believe the mind as our best friend. NO. If you become a slave to the mind and senses, your life is doomed for ever. In fact, we should keep away from the 'mind' which is nothing but a bundle of thoughts. Remove the thoughts one by one, then there will be no mind. Swami says "die mind' then you become like a "diamond'. He also says, master the mind and become Mastermind. He some times asks us to kill the mind. What is meant by killing? Activity is completely destroyed. When the mind's activity is destroyed, no more thought will haunt us any more. Bereft of the mind, we will remain in "Saswata Ananda. Then why not we choose the Full and desist from running behind false phenomena? This is exactly "maya in play". Swami says, when you see 'two', then Maya is in action. Let us decide and choose wisely. Sairam.
