Guest guest
Raga and Dwesha breed sin. Raga is attachment and dwesha is hatred. It is very essential that spiritual sadhakas should move away from the twins Raga and Dwesha. Swami has told in His discourses that you can have peace only when you remove the 'i'(ego) or attachment to the body and 'wants"(desires). But is it so easy to remove the craving for things or worldly riches. The attraction, the world holds for the individual is very difficult to desist. But "Slow and steady wins the race". Hence keeping Swami in our conscious, we should fight our inner tendencies. The best way is to ignore the dances of the mind. It will freighten you, it will cajole you to come into its fold. But hold on to your heart where Swami constantly resides. In due course of time, the mind will give way to Truth and Wisdom. Till that time, the fight has to be fought. Hence Swami asks all of us, to "Follow the Master, Face the Devil, Fight upto the end and Finish the game.Sairam.
