Swartham or 'selfishness' is the worst disease which affects majority of human beings. See the crows. If they find some food, the crow starts calling its comrades. But man is selfish. He want to accumulate and enjoy for himself and his immediate family. When a selfish man prays, his prayer will be for him and his family and none else. Is he happy after accumulating mansions and cars, bank balances and servants. No. He is not content with what he possess. Hence he plans to accumulate more and more properties, more and more money. At last, either he is raided by income tax sleuths or cheated by his own relatives and children. It is difficult for a rich man to remain in peace. Only through sacrifice, he can get peace. Sairam.
