Whatever functions are performed in Prasanthi Nilayam, it is purely for the sake of welfare of the humanity as a whole. "Lokas samasthas sukino bhavantu" utters the Vedas. From time immemorial, it was the breath of Bharath. To pray for the welfare of the entire humanity. We have seen that "Athi Rudra Maha Yagna" performed in the Nilayam and Chennai. It was not meant to benefit particular region or particular sect. It was meant for the whole of humanity. Hence Swami has asked the people to open the roof portion of the Sai Kulwant hall to enable the sacred smoke from homa gunda to merge in the outer atmosphere. Swami said that in due course it will spread all around the globe. Hence partake the fruits of the festivities and functions sincerely and imbibe the effects fully. Sairam.
