Guest guest
Vali and Sugriva were affectionate to one another. It was fate which turned the events to doubt each other. It was miserable. Thinking that Sugriva conspires to eliminate him, Vali banished Sugriva from the Kingdom. There was only one safe place to live where Vali can not place his feet. It was Rishyamuka parvata or hill where he hid himself with his close confident Anjaneya. Chance meeting of Rama and Lakshmana by Anjaneya led them to Sugriva. Rama found that Sugriva too lament due to the abduction of his wife by Vali. Finding that both are facing the same situation, Rama promised Sugriva that He will get his kingdom back and in turn Sugriva should help in finding Sita. Already Sugriva was in possession of some of the jewels thrown by Sita while being abducted. Now Rama could identify. He asked Lakshmana whether he could identify them. Lakshmana could identify only the "metti" worn in the middle finger in the feet by married woman. He never looked up at Sita. Everyday while prostrating to mother Sita, he could see only the metti. Such was the discipline maintained by noble Lakshmana. Truely he was the flag post on which the flag Rama flutters mejestically. Sairam.
