Guest guest
From the same mind, two different thoughts occurs which are quite opposing in nature. For instance, we want to carry out some task. one thought will arise in favour and within few moments, another thought will arise questioning the wisdom of doing a particular task. Whether or not, is the predicament most of the time. It is called "Chitta vrudhi" or manifestation of conflicting thought patterns. It is said, "Yogaha Chitta vrudhi nirodaha". Yoga is cessation of all these thought process. We must remain as the observer of thoughts just like observing a drama or a show of cinema. We just witness the various scenes in the cinema. We do not participate in the events that happen in the cinema. Likewise, we should remain mere observers, mute observers without doing any thing or reacting in any manner. Sairam.
