Guest guest
A heavy object drowns in water whereas a huge ship shaped with flat sides alround floats comfortably in the sea. Swami says, make yourself as "hollow inside" so that you can also float in the ocean of samsar or worldly life. Here hollowness inside denotes removal of the thick ego based on the body consciousness. The pressure exerted by water is more than the weight of the material that floats. If the weight of the material is more than the pressure of the water, the ship will definitely sink in the water. We have noticed several freak accidents in the ocean, where water enters inside the ship due to collision or due to percolation of water because of leakage in the surface or due to high tides generated by cyclones. We should not allow the worldly life, enter into our inner conscious. We will also get drowned in this mundane life. In order to float safely we should never allow 'samsar' to enter into us. Sairam.
