"Hello All Sai Devotees,I am not going to mention any of experience here but I just want to convey a message to everyone out here with sai baba family.Baba always told us that we need to help poor and needy people. Also any organised effort of supporting the economically underpriveledged classes as a Sai community initiative ? It is an irony of sorts , when you move around in Mumbai, which is considered financial capital of India and home to some of worlds richest people ( Forbes 100 guys & other celeb's) at one end, and pavement dwelers on other end. There are people in my area who live , eat and sleep betwen the NARROW SPACE of ROAD DIVIDERS.similarly there are people who have found a home inside a spare municipalty pipe on the road. (In fact i wanted to take some snaps recently, but dropped the idea as i thought it shouldnt offend poor people, but to make my point i'll try to get snaps if i can) The rest of hygiene ,sanitation etc conditions and the spread of diseases that comes with it is left to your imagination....story gores on. Ofcourse providing food(annadan) is best and safest form of charity if given to poor & needy individuals. As i have noticed , many of potential donors dont have time to devote to such socio-eco causes , but are willing to provide monetary support which is backbone at end of day, as you may agree. hence, thinking loud ,,,If the blog sites who are doing a good job of collecting people for mailing prayers, group prayers etc etc , can also form an NGO/forum that may co-ordinate , collect & convert monetary currency into spiritual currency , that may be one avenue to lead your noble thoughts to fruitition.
