Jai Guru Datta

Swamiji says, " dont wait for someone to tell you do this and that as seva.Take up

initiative and do it anyways. "

A friend of mine, who is so fond of Swamiji and whose love is reflected in our

Lord's eyes whenever they see eye to eye, told me that he had gifted a printer

to an ashram (he himself got it under credit card and yet to pay! )For the

ashramites (some of them told hhim that it would be very useful and he had

arranged and donated a licenced software too,for typing in various Indian

languages.

Recently he waqnted to go and help them by providing the normal after

sales/donation service, and found that, they are having the usual " peck me peck

you disorder "

He was told to take his donations and runaway,if he dare insists on why the

precious (atleast to him) things are not UTILIZED.

Also, when he donated some very hard earned money to soe rnovation process,he was

greeted with thanks ,but with a firm reminder that, the process is always there

and whether he gives or not they(The Great Trustees) will do it somehow.

This friend of mine is fighting to curb his ego and actually on his way to

success, but he understands the downfalls.Swamiji stays with him day and night

and watches out.Looks loke our Lord has made it a point to see him through.

By the way, what shall I tell him?

To continue with his seva,or just keep quite and just worship Swamiji and go?

He is happy anyways, but he just wants to improve the conditions at his Lord's

temples.

I am very much aware of how Swamiji treats the complaints at any of His

Ashrams.I just wanted to share this.I know that He is watching me,how I am

typing this and what I am thinking and all that. What is the lesson here for me?

Thats all I want to know.

Always longing to lie down at His feet and look at them and if it is possible to

rest the head, on them.
