Guest guest
AUM SAI RAM The Ramayana, not only relates the story of Bhagawan Ram but it also tells the marvellous story of the true Karma Yogi, Lord Hanuman. Rama was the Avatara of Lord Vishnu and Lord Hanuman was the Avatara of Lord Shiva. Hanuman was the living embodiment of the power of Ram-Nam. He crossed the seas to find Mother Sita, after the demon king Ravana had taken her to Lanka, by the mere utterance of the name of Ram. He achieved other feats by the power of the Namasmaran. He possessed the virtues of devotion, knowledge, bravery and intelligence. He also had the remarkable spirit of selfless service and the amazing power of celibacy. Hanuman too, like Lord Rama, Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna and Lord Sathya Sai, did not have any lustful desire. He did not marry because his whole life was dedicated to serving the Lord (God). To-day, we see that Bhagawan Baba too is not married because His life is dedicated to the God which is in His bhaktas. "Service to Man is service to God!" says Sri Baba. Hanuman was fearless. When King Ravana asked who he was, he spontaneously replied: "I am Hanuman, the humble servant of Sri Rama! I am not afraid of death. I am fearless by the Grace of the Lord!" Fearlessness is the Shakti that God confers on all true devotees. To-day, just like Hanuman, the devotees of Bhagawan Baba are fearless too. By the power and glory of the name of Sri Baba, they achieve great feats. When Hanuman reached the Kingdom of Ravana and found Mother Sita, the demons caught hold of him. They devised a cunning way to destroy him; they put fire to his tail to burn him alive. However, Premaswarupa, the Ramayana teaches us that those who put fire to our tail are themselves destroyed by fire. Hence, Hanuman set fire to Lanka, using his tail as a burning torch.
