There was religious singing by members of the Shri Satya Saiya Baba Organisation, as well as a performance by the Evergreen Tassa Group. Also in the spotlight was top Indian artiste Gauri Guha, of Bengal, members of the Radha Krishna Dance Company, dancers Shalini Juteram and Adesh Sookdeo, singers Savitri Rampersad, Jairaj Singh and Jairam Dindial and a fashion show by Chandini’s Collections. The programme for the rest of the week includes: Today -The Satya Sai Baba Organisation, Tandava Tassa Group, Hansraj Ramkissoon, the Shakti Devi Dance Group and the New Generation Dance Group, Petrotrin Rangeela Orchestra and the Executive Fashion House. Friday - The Satya Sai Baba Organisation, SSL St. John’s United Tassa Group, Dr. Ruby Malick, Indira Mahatoo Dance Company and Roopa School of Dance, Sangeet Bahar Indian Orchestra, Grand Finals of the Coca Cola/NCIC Youth Champs Contest, Shivanand and Narendra Maharaj, Karamchand Maharaj and Bhaskar Sharma Canada,. President George Maxwell Richards will be the chief guest. Saturday - The Satya Sai Baba Organisation, Malick All Stars Tassa Group, Neeval Chaitlal and Deosaran Ramsumair, Roopa School of Dance, (of Florida), Shavi Toolan of Jamaica, and Aspara Dance Academy of Guyana, the Sangeet Bahar Indian Orchestra, Dr. Winston Toolan (Jamaica), as well as Donna Phillip, Terry Dookram, and Mangesh Ekbote, the Miss Teen Queen Pageant. Basdeo Panday, leader of the UNC Alliance will be the chief guest. Sunday - The Satya Sai Baba Organisation. Tropical Power Country Boys Tassa Group, Tej Ramlogan and Satie Maharaj,Nirmala, Satrupa Seesnarayan, Kailash Ganga Persad, Pooja Malhotra, the Courts Nirvana Dance Company, Amritam Shakti Dance Group, The Originals Indian Orchestra, Youth Champs in Concert, Sushilla Cheng Fashion House, Karamchand Maharaj and Bhaskar Sharma (Canada Senator Dr Lenny Saith, Minister of Trade and Industry, will be the chief guest. Monday(final night) - Clico Fireworks, The Satya Sai Baba Organisation, St. John’s Tassa Group, Zaid Hosein, Bhajans by Pundit Beesram Seudat , Clico Shiv Shakti Dance Company, the Kiss Natraj Dance Group, Sitara Baal, Karma, winners of the Youth Champs Contest, Sushilla Cheng Fashion House, with guest artistes Karamchand Maharaj and Bhaskar Sharma (Canada).
