A depressed and heart broken couple came to the church to talk to the

priest. No sooner were they seated,they began speaking at the same

time in a duel of criticisms. Priest suggested to tell all the good

they see in one another.

 

There was total silence.

 

He told to write something praiseworthy about the other. They stared

at the paper. Then they began write-fast and furiously. Finally, the

writing stopped.

 

The wife pushed her paper to the priest. He pushed it back signaling

that give it directly to her husband. He took it and in turn, slid his

paper towards his wife.

 

Soon a tear slid down the cheeks of the couple. She crumpled the paper

in her fist and he held it tight. That proved that she treasured the

sudden revelation of good things her husband had expressed about her.
