Living with half-hunger, seeking the company of a street woman, drinking water from unclean well, and drinking goat milk are undesirable. The author offers a ‘value’ judgment on several situations and human conditions. 11. O Sumati! Education gets you the capacity to earn money, courage gets you the capacity to fight battles, tact gives you the capacity to win praise from learned men, and anxiousness to pick arguments gets you harm. Study well, and you will be able to make a good living; be courageous and you will be able to face difficult situations; be tactful and you will be well-regarded. However, if you are quick to pick arguments, you will sure be in harm’s way. 12. O Sumati! If mouth is not used to speak good words, and to address your family members with affection, it is as good as a dirt pit.
