Guest guest Posted November 1, 2007 Report Share Posted November 1, 2007 SAI RAM Dear Brother, Anybody having a PC or Laptop and a Mail Id , Messenger and having some background and interest in the teachings of Srisathya Sai Baba and our Scriptures in general can particpate provided the day and timings to be fixed by the Moderator is convenient to one who wants to particpate. It is a chat session on spiritual topics. Online Satsang is nothing by a Study Circle of members not physically present at the same location in the form of a normal chat session. The topic to be discussed, the day and time are all preannounced by the moderator. The participants are expected to study the wealth of Sai and other literature including relevant web articles and jot down the points for a healthy and interesting chat session. Regularity in particpation, punctuality, coming fully-prepared for the chat session, tolearance and mutual respect for other particpants, politeness in communication, keeping in focuss the topic of discussion, avoidance of digressions which have the effect of derailing the Satsang, not leaving the Satsang in the middle etc. etc. are some of the the self-imposed discipline for the particpants of the online Satsang. This forum is not to be used for airing personal problems and grievances. Once the Moderator`s name,mail Id, day and time schedule and topic for discussion is announced in this forum, each prospective participant can send a request to the moderator for inviting the member to the chat session. On the appointed day and time, the interested members should log in at least 5 minutes ahead of the time fixed and wait for the invitation to chat of the moderator. Thereafter the Satsang will take off. Considering the different time zones of the globe, it is ideal to have separate online Satsang groups for each country or part of the country. As far as India is concerned we have only one time zone. In USA there are three time zones. It is difficult to fix a time suitable to all members located throughout the world.
