Dattatreya Jayanti Celebrations in Mysore Ashrama - Dec 23, 2007

Dear Devotees,

 

The three day Dattatreya Jayanti Festival concluded on 23rd December 2007 at

Mysore Ashrama.

 

Sri Swamiji performed Sri Chakra Puja in Nada Mantapa at 8 a after offering

Purnahuti for Pavamana Homa.

 

Later, at 10 am, thousands of devotees performed Taila (oil) Abhishekam to Sri

Dattatreya Swamy.

 

At 7 pm, Teppotsava was performed for Lord Dattatreya in the newly renovated

water pond " Saptarshi Sarovara " .

The celebrations concluded with Pujya Sri Sadgurudeva performing Kakadarati to

Sri Kalagni Shamana Dattatreya in Universal Prayer hall at 8 pm.
