Guest guest
 Jaya Guru Datta, Below is the Jain prayer with meaning. Pujya Sri Swamiji added “OM†before each prayer line. It is called the " Namokär Mantra†the most popular Jain prayer. " NAMOKÄR MANTRA " is the prayer that shows our respect for those souls who are liberated as well as to those who are on the path to be liberated. Namo Arihantänam: I bow down to Arihant Bhagwän-the ever-perfect Spiritual Victors. Namo Siddhänam: I bow down to Siddha Bhagwän-liberated souls. Namo Äyariyänam: I bow down to Ächarya-leaders of Jain order. Namo Uvajjhäyänam: I bow down to Upädhyäy-the learned preceptors. Namo Loe Savva Sähunam: I bow down to all the monks and nuns everywhere in the world. Eso Panch Namokkäro: These five salutations Savva-Pävappanäsano: Erase all sins. Manglänancha Savvesim Among all this is auspicious prayer, Padhamam Havai Mangalam This one (Namokär Mantra) is the foremost. Teacher: Arihantas, Siddhas, Ächaryäs, Upädhyäyas and sadhus and sadhvis are the models in Jainism. We should try to be like them. Every day in the morning and before we go to bed, we should pray to them by paying respect to their achievements.
