Guest guest
Namaskar Ramesh, Thanks so much for writing in and sharing your experiences of visiting holy places. The information especially about Sani Signapur and the " Swayambhu " idol is very valuable. I enjoyed reading every bit of your message and also sure other friends here will feel the same. Looking forward to when you have time to write about Kalighat in Kolkata! Even a tree growing over the idol is supposed to have got burnt. Every day tonnes of mustard oil is poured on the idol by devotees. There is also the added attraction of having darshan of Lord Ganesha in Padala [underworld].
