Celebration of BALIPADYAMI today, Monday, 19.10., in India

Today we celebrate Lord VISHNU in His fifth Avatara as VAAMANA, and the well

known story of the humbling down of demon king Bali and the sending him to

Patala, the netherworld.

 

In March 2005 Sri Swamije was lecturing on this Vishnu-Avatara. It was on the

occasion of the concecration of the SAHASRA SHIVALINGAM in our Haridwar Ashrama,

on the bank of holy River GANGA.

 

I was enjoying this amazing story, especially the chapter when VAAMANA as

MAHAVISHNU was piercing the wall of the KATAHA (wall) of our BRAHMAANDA

(Universe) with his big toe! It caused the entry of holy water from the supreme

consciousness beyond the wall of our Universe. It was the cause for the

formation of the holy RIVER GANGA, a blessing for all the 14 worlds, enhancing

SATTWA GUNA.

Sri Swamiji was talking about the millions of Brahmaandas (universes)

existing in our Multiverse! .......... JAI ISHWARA.......
