Dear Narasimhaye ji and Ramesh ji,

Thank you for your information, recommendation and links.

Of course, Rudra Centre is my favorite supplier and I prefer to

send my enquiry to them because I trust them and I value their service.

By the way, today I received my order from Rudra Centre and I'd

like to ask a question regarding planting the Rudraksha seeds:

Dear Narasimhaye Prabhu, is there some special requirements

regarding planting these sacred seeds – e.g type of soil, watering, etc.?

I have many tropical plants at home and I think I am enough

experienced gardener (15+ years), but… Rudraksha is not ordinary plant. I found

some information online and in the city library. Still, the advice from learned

and experienced person like you will be more valuable and helpful.

Yours sincerely,

Ivan

Namaste Ivan Prabhu,

You are most welcome. Great to hear you obtained some rudraksha

seeds for growing and also a seasoned gardener. Its a wonderful

blessing to have a 'green thumb'. Please read the article in the

next message that I hope will be of some use to you.

Some seeds originate from warm, tropical regions and hence would

survive better when sowed in tropical conditions. I think your seeds

may be from Nepal, hence sowing them in cooler conditions may help

spout them quicker.

The best way is to compare notes with the information you found

online and from the library. Then begin experimenting by placing 1

or 2 seeds in each pot. Then place them in different locations of

your home or garden, shade or warm/strong light, etc. You will notice

which pot takes growth first. This is when you know exactly is the

best spot in your property to plant the seeds and can later grow some

more if you wish. Remember not to overwater them. As you know, most

plants can die from overwatering.

Hope you will grow your rudraksha plants with great success!

Om Namah Shivaya
